5) When People Ask You For Cigarettes

Everyone loves those goddamn cancer sticks. I’ve been smoking cigarettes since I was probably 13, and before I could buy packs I used to have to ask people to buy them for me. At that time I had no realization whatsoever that I was annoying the hell out everyone who happened to cross my path at 7/11 or Citgo whenever I was in need of some nicotine. I was also broke as a little kid and couldn’t afford packs anyways, so I would bum cigarettes off of everyone. Now much older, I buy a pack of Newports and go to class from 2pm to 8pm and the pack is devoured. Between every single goddamn poor college kid or all the little kids wandering the campus from the high school a block away, I go crazy. They literally ask me for a cigarette every time I pull one out, scavengers who scope out the entire campus for the first person they see reach into their pocket. My friends are even worse as I’ll be hanging out with a big group of my friends who all smoke and most of the time nobody will have a pack except for me. I’m cutting you grimeballs off, cigarettes are $7.15 in Queens, times are hard.

4) Asian Girls

First of all, everyone knows Asian Girls have horizontal vagina’s. Besides that, they sit in the back of class silently, and never speak a word. They always reminded me of outcasts who go to school strictly to study and do as much work as possible. As a little kid, I never found Asian girls attractive with their Hello Kitty shit, playing that fucking kongi’s game in the lunch room. They’re smart as hell but half the time they speak broken English and are so strangely quiet. With Asian girls, it’s so difficult to decipher even the most basic of questions such as if the girl is a rocket scientist or the type of Asian girl who would be an employee of Panda Garden Take-Out. Asian girls also have no body’s at all, and almost always stick to their own kind anyways…except for in porn for some reason.

3) Ugly Building Boom In My Neighborhood

My neighborhood of Bayside, is a old historic town, with many houses old enough to be considered for landmark status. Now lots of the beautiful old historic homes are being torn down, mostly by Asian contractors, and ugly generic four-family looking homes are being built over it. What a beautiful lawn! These houses have barely any property, and almost alway no front lawn. They use these ugly cheap plain looking bricks, and have the meters exposed outside, Flushing, Queens style. Then they have these “McMansion’s” that are such eye sores. These assholes profit outrageously with their horribly built cheap houses, by making my neighborhood look retarded.

2) The Police

Let’s face it, they’re all assholes. They pull you over for no reason mostly because it’s late at night and you look young and then when they ask you why you’ve been stopped tell you “There’s been a lot of buglary’s recently, we have to be careful.” I don’t hate all cops, I have love for the ones do their job with respect and integrity. It’s the asshole cops a.k.a “Pigs” who I can’t stand. They give you a ticket instead of a warning, or sometimes just summons you for no reason. I hate those stupid cops who find a dime of weed on you and arrest you for it instead of throwing it out like a nice officer who has worse things to worry about would do. When you’re young, they talk shit to you and act like they run the neighborhood. I’m not one of those little kids pissed off at the police because they ruin all the fun, I just hate the way they work and do their jobs. I’ve been stopped on the street and in my car, at times for no apparent reason. There’s not much crime in my neighborhood these days, and I honestly feel they have nothing better to do then give out bullshit summonses and bother little kids who are just trying to enjoy a few beers in the park. Shit it’s 20 degrees outside, let the little bastards freeze their asses off anyways, right?New York City's Finest!

1) Stupid Laws

I was going to put this under the last category, but this really has nothing to do with the police. I can’t drink a beer in public, even if I’m standing in front of the bar and I’m over 21. Then when I’m drunk as hell at four in the morning walking home from the strip, I have to watch my back for the police because of the threat of a expensive public urination summons, or piss my pants. I’m not allowed to take a piss hidden in an alley even in an emergency. What the fuck is with some of the laws I am forced to live my life with these days? How the hell are people getting arrested for little bags of weed, but I could go to the beer depot and buy a keg of Heineken right now, and get a lot more fucked up. When they banned smoking in public places in New York, I was so pissed off. That was the whole point of having a smoking section at a bar or restaurant, if you didn’t wanna be around it you didn’t have to. One of the laws that get me the most ticked off is the rule that in New York City if you get into an accident and you’re behind the person, it’s automatically your fault. Everyone who drives has experienced times where they almost rear-ended the person in front of them because they stopped short for no reason like idiots.

The historic-buildings-being-replaced-by-generic-ugly-suburbia-bullshit issue is pretty shitty. Of course, there’s the alternative to worry about, too. Here in Bronxville the community passed a law denying building rights to almost all contractors (I think the only exception is one set of upscale condos that will be the last buildings built here for a long time), to preserve the history of the city. As a result, there are homes that cost three million dollars here, and the cheapest rent I’ve been able to find for vacant apartments near campus is $3500 a month. Which is shit.
