		<description>The historic-buildings-being-replaced-by-generic-ugly-suburbia-bullshit issue is pretty shitty. Of course, there's the alternative to worry about, too. Here in Bronxville the community passed a law denying building rights to almost all contractors (I think the only exception is one set of upscale condos that will be the last buildings built here for a long time), to preserve the history of the city. As a result, there are homes that cost three million dollars here, and the cheapest rent I've been able to find for vacant apartments near campus is $3500 a month. Which is shit.</description>
